 What do you guys use for flash?

Do you tween or use frame by frame (creating a new body part every time)

just wanna know so I know what is best to start on

Tweening is not how real animation is created. Tweening is good for text effects and stuff like that, but when it comes to animating, it's only FBF, man.

To create stick figures, it depends on the certain style you want to go into. I personally believe line is best. Not sloppy close up and has an overall appeal.

For animation, I frame by frame most of it. Sure, there's times when I use tweens, but not too often. I think recreating the stick ever time would be a waste.

With brush or pencil, you redraw the stick every frame, it is also by definition a lot sloppier. People use brush or pencil for quick animations, like fight scenes or whatever.

Line is a lot cleaner, and all you have to do is move the limbs around (but don't let that fool you, it's still just as challenging to do). This is mainly used for cinematic type movies like shootouts and whatever.

It's all your style though, whatever you pick.
