I got the beta :P
The graphics were very nice, and the water was godly. The sounds were, in my opinion, one of the best in the series. The soldiers actually say a lot of stuff like "shit, we're sitting ducks!" or "take that you bastards!", instead of just yelling "grenade!" or "enemy down!" like in CoD4.

However, I didn't like the new feel of it. It was fun for the first hour, but I went back to play CoD4 after that. You actually have to kill your way with crap bolt action rifles to get a sniper scope (You start out with one sniper rifle that sucks balls) Plus, because everyone runs around with rifles and bayonets, you are pretty much always killed from far range, unlike CoD4, where there is a mix of close range shotguns/submachine guns and far range weapons.

The perks however, were quite inventive and nice. I love the special grenades and grenades. You can choose your grenades to be molotov cocktails, pineapple, or a sticky grenade, Your special grenades are the signal flare (Their version of the flashbang), tabun gas (Freakin' sweet) and smoke. I hope single player is good, but I was a little disappointed by the beta. I thought Treyarch would actually make it more fun than CoD4.

i knew this game was gona suck ass when i heard it was going to be made by the same team that made Cod3. Which also sucked. The team who made cod4 had nothing to do with this. You wont see me playing it, maybe a rent just to say ive played it.

Looks good, the dismemberment adds a bit more to the atmosphere and feel, but I probably would still prefer CoD4 in terms of gameplay.

I did get spawn-killed by someone on the Castle level. He would just sit there right where the team spawns and kill everybody. I then did the same thing and got a 12 kill streak :P

But meh, it is an awesome game, and the fact that Keifer Sutherland does the voice for the Marine commander guy is pretty fucking badass, mostly cuz I love his voice to death. Other than that, I don't think it's quite good enough to pay $60 bucks for :/ (that's why I'll let my dad play the beta and get excited for it, then HE can buy it and I don't have to xP)

I played the game though.
CoD3 fucking sucks... thats all I have to say about that.

CoD5 was pretty nice actually.

2 and 4 were the fucking best.

They took the number off. Chronologically and technically it is 5, but Activision used a sub-title instead of a number. That's how they'll do it from now on.

What I'm hoping is Activision will just give the rights to Call of Duty to Treyarch (made 3 and WaW) and Infinity Ward will start developing another similar, but better game.

Graphics fucking SUCK now that I look at it closely.
Gameplay is quite good. Nice ambushing moments.

You also have to realize they toned it down for the multiplayer. IW even slightly toned down 4's graphics for their beta.
